Christian Education

We show our loving concern for children by sponsoring various programs for their spiritual and developmental growth. They can learn more about their Savior during Sunday School, which is held for those 3 years and older from 10:30—11:30 am after the morning worship service. A nursery is available for those children younger than 3.

Children become members of St. Paul through the sacrament of Holy Baptism. When they reach the 6th grade, they attend weekly classes on the Lutheran faith. Upon completion, in 7th grade, they become confirmed members.

For others interested in the Lutheran faith, Adult Confirmation Classes are scheduled. Upon completion, a person is able to join the congregation through the rite of Adult Confirmation.

Two youth groups schedule outings and projects on a regular basis. The Senior High youth is for those who have entered High School. The Junior Youth is for grades 1-9.

The Senor Youth group participates in a large number of community mission opportunities. Each Monday they teach Bible stories to children who are currently residents at the Hale County Women's Crisis Center. They sponsor monthly mission projects that included helping The Crisis Pregnancy Center, Humane Society, Covenant Hospital Nursery, and the Hale County Crisis Center, just to name a few. They assist local citizens each military holiday by placing flags on veteran's graves. They also participate in fellowship activities twice a month.

Two adult classes are held from 10:30-11:30 am each Sunday after the morning worship service. Each class offers a time for coffee and fellowship while learning more about the Word of God.
